On Monday's AOA, Jesse Allen returns from his time off and we start the show with a look at markets with Barchart Senior Market Analyst, Darin Newsom. In Segment Two, will we see planting windows open up this week? DTN Meteorologist John Baranick joins us for a conversation. In Segment Three, we sit down with Dr. Bianca Moebius-Clune from American Farmland Trust to learn more about their mission and a new soil health training program! Finally in Segment Four, we wrap the show talking with Charlie Carter from Cenex!

AOA Friday 5-10-2024

On Friday's AOA, we have Mike Adams filling in for one last show. New dad Jesse Allen will be back as your host on Monday! For Segment One today we are talking with Agricultural Retailers Association President and CEO Daren Coppock about the Farm Bill and more. In Segment Two we look at the Monthly Meat Demand Monitor with Dr. Glynn Tonsor over at K-State University. Then in Segment Three we have Tim Lust, the CEO of the National Sorghum Producers joining us to chat about a recent USDA trade mission to India and more. And finally we wrap up the show in Segment Four previewing the upcoming Farm Progress show with Farm Progress Events Director Matt Jungmann. Farm Progress is in Boone, Iowa this year August 27-29.

On Thursday's AOA, with guest host Mike Adams, we have another busy show today. In Segment One we have Mike Zuzolo with Global Commodity Analytics to discuss markets and the upcoming WASDE reports. In Segment Two we discuss the latest Purdue/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer with Dr. Jim Mintert from Purdue University. Then in Segment Three we have Todd Neeley, DTN Environmental Editor, joining us to chat about a recent story regarding biofuels tax credits fraud. 

And finally in Segment Four we chat renewable fuels, the latest in E15, GREET and more with Robert White at the Renewable Fuels Association.

We're back with Mike Adams on Wednesday's AOA, powered by Cenex. In Segment One we have Jerry Hagstrom with The Hagstrom Report. We start with his outlook on the Farm Bill, USDA Reports, and GREET.

 

In Segment Two we talk cattle industry issues with the US Cattlemen's Association President, Justin Tupper. Then in Segment Three we dive into economic views and markets with Arlan Suderman from StoneX. 

 

Finally in Segment Four we are joined by Matthew Dillon with the Organic Trade Association, ahead of organic week next week.

In Segment Two, American Carbon Alliance CEO Tom Buis joins the show to share their perspective on the SAF Tax Credit guidance, GREET modeling, imports of Brazilian sugarcane ethanol for SAF and much more. Next up in Segment Three, we continue the SAF discussion and hear from American Soybean Association President, Josh Gackle, on why the guidance is restrictive for farmers in some parts of the country and why more work needs to be done. Finally in Segment Four, we discuss various cattle industry issues with R-CALF USA CEO, Bill Bullard to close the show.
